STEFAN ROHrBERG
Principal
Stefan has worked on diverse and challenging projects in the hospitality, education, residential, healthcare, and corporate interiors environments ranging from a new high-rise tower at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and the expansion of John Wayne Airport in Orange County, to the large Festival City project in Dubai, UAE.
With over 17 years in the lighting industry, Stefan has successfully increased sales for several lighting manufacturers in the Southern California market, and has been instrumental in helping new brands become leaders in their respective segments. As Principal and Co-Founder at Light Build Design, he has led in the success of projects such as Google’s office in Los Angeles, Torrance Memorial Medical Center New Tower and Disney’s new theme park in Shanghai.
Stefan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Logistics from Business Colleges in Aarhus and Skanderborg, Denmark. Besides English, Stefan speaks Danish and German fluently. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, travel, playing golf and spending quality time with his family, as he is proud father to Julian and twins Christian and Chloe.
PETER JUEL
PRINCIPAL
Peter began his lighting career in 1996 at Louis Poulsen Lighting, Copenhagen. As an immigrant, he came to the U.S. with two things: a fully packed suitcase and the desire to take part in the American Dream. Since then, he has successfully cultivated 21+ years experience in lighting and specification sales.
He has worked on some of Southern California’s most prestigious residential and commercial projects, including: Hotel Del Coronado, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Cedars Sinai Hospital, Santa Monica Public Library, and Robb Report’s Ultimate Home 2011.
As a veteran of the industry, Peter saw the need to better service the design community in Southern California with trendsetting lighting products and top-notch customer relations. In May of 2011, he launched Light Build Design as Principal and Founder. Since its inception, this boutique firm has supported projects in the Greater Los Angeles area such as: Hyundai HQ, Pimco HQ, Nasty Gal, Viacom, Netflix, and Beats by Dr. Dre in Culver City.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from Koge Business School, Denmark and speaks English, Danish and Spanish. His hobbies include playing soccer, hiking, skiing, watching football, traveling, cooking and tequila.
